23 vs 25?
The main difference is the jewel count, but this has little to no impact on performance. Both versions function similarly, so it's not a major factor when choosing a watch.
ETA uses plastic parts because they don't need lubrication, in theory should last longer and require less maintenance and provide higher accuracy than regular parts that need lubrication. Also don't get fooled by word "plastic" - it is a polymer specifically designed for the task. It's durable.
