Yes. I have gone through two Rokus. One was the basic HDMI stick, the 2nd was the full-size 4K Ultra puck. They both died in just over a year.

I'm now using one of the Onn (Walmart) Google TV pucks, very similar to this. 2.5 years in, it still works like new.
