This 15.3 inch MacBook Air deal stands out for pairing the M5 chip with 24GB of memory and a 512GB SSD at a price that compares well with recent Apple Education and Costco pricing. The larger screen and lighter Air design make it appealing for everyday use, while the extra RAM is the main upgrade that tips it ahead of 16GB alternatives. The base Pro still offers better sustained performance, a 120Hz mini LED display, more ports, and better speakers. B and H tax credits may soften the cost, but they are not the same as truly free tax.
Shoppers comparing premium 15-inch laptops, because this price lands only about $200 above a 13-inch M4 and undercuts recent education pricing.
Laptop multitaskers who keep many apps open, because 24GB of memory makes this configuration feel worth choosing over 16GB models.
People wanting a larger screen for everyday use, because the 15-inch size is praised as a better fit than the smaller form factor while staying light.
Buyers who want the best display for media or creative work, because the screen lacks the 120Hz mini-LED panel and stronger speakers of a higher-tier model.
People who need sustained high-performance workloads, because the fanless design can throttle under long loads compared with a cooled model.
Shoppers who want the smallest, most portable laptop, because the 15-inch chassis is less compact than the 13-inch form factor.

The pro has a miniled display with 120hz. Some like it, some don't care. It has more ports and better speakers. It also has a fan for active cooling (some like this and some don't).
The screen on the pro is smaller tho
