This open box 11 inch iPad with the A16 chip is drawing attention as a strong value for a near new tablet, especially for reading, browsing, and general everyday use. The best reports describe units arriving in original packaging or plain brown boxes with pristine screens, factory wrapped or unused accessories, and very low battery cycles, sometimes zero. Warranty dates also appear to run well into 2026 or 2027. The main caution is quality control, with a few reports of scratches, a small dent, or a weak battery, plus warnings about low stock and possible empty box or refund hassles. A solid deal if the unit arrives as described.
Common Questions (5)
Yes, several units report very low cycle counts, including 0, 1, or 2 cycles, and some buyers saw 100% battery health. One report noted only about 3 hours of web browsing despite a low cycle count, so battery life can still vary.
Many units arrive looking brand new, often with original packaging, charger, and cable, and several report 0-2 battery cycles. A few units have cosmetic issues like scratches or a small dent, so condition can vary by box.
Warranty length varies by unit, but buyers have reported about 6 months remaining, warranty through 2026, and warranty until April 2027 depending on activation date. Checking the activation date in Settings helps estimate the remaining coverage.
The listing is inconsistent: the title and key features say A16, while the product details/about section show A14. That mismatch makes the exact model worth verifying before buying.
Some buyers warn that open-box units can arrive empty, heavily used, or with refund hassles, so delivery should be monitored closely. Others report smooth returns and mostly as-advertised purchases from VIPOUTLET.

OP's was OOS when I clicked initially.
Don't forget the 5% off coupon code and the 6% off cash back at R.A.K.U....
Comes to $223.25 but specs are VERY STRONG. Actually this is the best Android tablet deal I have ever seen on SD.net.
