Bit much unless you are desperate. 3 months ago it was at best buy for ~$1300. Last month it was ~$1200 through Samsung discount program. I paid ~$1400 little over a week ago through Samsung discount.

That said, wife loves the ice maker and infuser pitcher. Middle drawer is convenient for whatever your needs are. Got mine set for deli. I wish the app could tell you actual temp instead of set temp. I got the 5yr warranty. Hopefully it lasts beyond that.

Interesting. Can you share more about how "Samsung discount" works? I've been tracking this exact fridge for months and am waiting for it to fall under ~$1400. Best prices I've see have been $1379 for one in "open box excellent" condition through best buy, but at the outlet store (meaning no shipping) so I passed on that. I've also seen it get to $1570 at Samsung with their open box pricing, which I cannot find any data on how well to trust that open box program. Any insights? Thanks!

Additionally, this deal is a little sweeter at Best Buy right now, for me at least you get an extra $250 off + free delivery when you put it in your cart, so $1850 + tax.

It's been lower in the past, but if you need one now such is life. Great fridge. I prefer the 4 door version to the 3 door. The 4 door just feels more ergonomic.

Apparently the white panels look amazing too.

Can be lower in price but great fridge. We have it for 2.5 years no issues so far. I think ones like this that have no ice dispenser are more reliable. It has an ice tray in the freezer.

There are several models of this fridge available that look almost the same from the front. This one does have a beverage center (with a double door on the left) and a dual ice dispenser. This is a more expensive model. The models that had been on sale for 1300ish in the past, if I remember correctly, didn't have all these features. When my wife and I looked at these in the store we decided that we want both the double door and dual ice. Do your research. Thats said, I also think that you can get this model for a lower price if you are not in a rush.

Samsung fridge = hard pass. Whirlpool or GE are the only way to go
What's wrong with their newer fridges? They fixed the major issues that plagued the previous generation. This has a long compressor warranty and without an ice maker in the door, I don't know what makes this a bad fridge.

Firstly, you need an EPP account. Check if your employer participates in it. Second, talk to agent for delayed delivery. If you are paying now for late delivery they give you extra discount at their discretion but worth it. We got white panel, 3 door for $1340 + $170 for 5 years warranty.

I agree. Most complaints in last few years are due to delivery issues or the water systems (ice maker, pitcher, etc. ) not the core functions which is refrigeration. Samsung models look great especially with glass panels. No one else have those options at the same price point. We have ordered one but will receive next month as we have planned accordingly.

The things are ugly and difficult without handles on the doors. I need a refrigerator bad but these are good deals through the epp samsung site (not this deal posted as someone said above).

Others have said this and I didn't listen. Don't buy a Samsung. The compressor on mine failed at about 4.5 years. You'll have to fight hard to get warranty service. New compressor failing again after less than a year, fridge is now 5 years, 2 months. I think I'm SOL this time.

Repair guy said the compressors run at high RPM for efficiency at the expense of durability and that 5 years is pretty normal. Not a DIY repair either because of the refrigerant.

The ice maker on my whirlpool broke 3 times under warranty, broke again (air leak in the freezer I think), 4th time was at month 13. When I asked Whirlpool on the 3rd time it broke, they basically told me too bad. Now my 12 year old whirlpool dishwasher is going out, done with Whirlpool after this

Oh I didn't know that previous BB deal was open box. Yeah like the other poster said Samsung EPP. My wife is an educator and qualifies. My experience with BB open box is OK. You might want to add an extended warranty if it's within your budget. I usually only buy the extended warranties if the price is right. My total cost from Samsung EPP after tax, delivery, and 5yr Care+ was around $1700.
As far as brands go I replaced my old white GE french door with a stainless version 6yrs ago. I stuck with GE since I knew a family friend that ran an appliance repair shop and they couldn't service Samsung/LG. Well after 6yrs my new GE fridge stopped cooling properly and that family friend won some lotto money and sold their shop lol. GE has no service techs in my area. I spent $700 trying to fix it myself. Would have got this fridge cheaper and saved much money if I just bought it when they posted the original deal. I gave my old white GE fridge to my sis and it has no mechanical issues after 20yrs. I hate sounding like boomers but they just don't make em like they used to lmao. I would also agree with other poster about Samsung and say their appliance quality is now on par with the competition. Buy what you like and is within your budget. Never accept a "brand new" appliance that isn't delivered in a box. Ignore name brand hype.

But was it this bespoke series?
