Step 1 - Buy this x2
Step 2 - Buy $50 x2 and use the coupon code TKP562 to get the $100 for $92 ($8 off). $432 total. This is to account for the additional $50 and tax depending on where you live. You can find eShop gift cards up to 13% off on cardcenter.cc (when I last checked but at $43.50 per gc), but since I am stacking with paze, I decided to purchase here since with paze the $ back and % off is better than 13% off.
NOTE, the 2x$50 transaction for $92 must be separate from the 4x$50 deal for 15% off seen here.
In summary (using bay area tax)
Actual Out-of-Pocket Cash Spent: $432.00 (On your discounted Newegg cards)
Chase Points Earned: 4,968 UR Points (Worth up to ~$100 in travel value or $49.68 if redeemed for straight cash back)
Leftover Wallet Change: $4.45
So its more like $332 if you use your points appropriately, or if you just redeem for cash back, $382.32 and left over with $4-5 gift card on your nintendo account.
It was cheaper not that long ago though... https://slickdeals.net/f/19475019
Community Reviews
This is a digital Xbox Game Pass Ultimate month that can be stacked with other subscription tricks and checkout rewards to lower the effective cost. The Newegg listing also appears to work with promo codes, and Paze checkout can add extra Chase points for eligible cards. The main caveats are that the code and deal seem to come and go, and the subscription math only makes sense if you are already planning to stack or redeem multiple cards. It is a flexible way to extend Xbox access if you are comfortable juggling the redemption steps.
Common Questions (4)
The U.S. eShop balance limit is $800, not $250. The cards can be used only for digital items, so the balance is meant for digital purchases rather than physical goods.
Yes. Add the gift cards to your Nintendo account, then go to Nintendo Store, choose Hardware, select Switch 2, and at checkout apply the balance from previously entered gift cards.
The deal can be bought in quantities up to 5 at the promo price when using code SSF6899. A separate post lists the same 1-month US-registered email-delivery membership at $18.39 with promo code SSF68995.
Redeem 3x12 or 6x6 months of Xbox Live Gold/Core-style membership first, then redeem 1 month of Game Pass Ultimate. That converts the stacked time into about 1 year 8 months of Ultimate and can work out to roughly $13 per month.

Edit: nm - did it myself. Go to Nintendo store, click Hardware, select Switch 2, go to checkout, hit Apply balance from gift cards previously entered.
There are some good games on there at the moment, so might be worth dipping a toe back in.
