This is a digital Xbox Game Pass Ultimate month that can be stacked with other subscription tricks and checkout rewards to lower the effective cost. The Newegg listing also appears to work with promo codes, and Paze checkout can add extra Chase points for eligible cards. The main caveats are that the code and deal seem to come and go, and the subscription math only makes sense if you are already planning to stack or redeem multiple cards. It is a flexible way to extend Xbox access if you are comfortable juggling the redemption steps.

  • Newegg offers a 1-month Game Pass Ultimate email delivery option for a low $18.39 price using promo code SSF68995.

  • Chase Freedom or Sapphire cardholders can earn 10x points when using Paze checkout, which can add substantial Chase rewards value.

  • Stacking Chase Freedom Unlimited with Paze checkout can reach an 11.5x points scenario, and a coupon code TKP562 may reduce the out-of-pocket total.

  • Nintendo eShop gift card balances can be applied during Switch 2 checkout by selecting Apply balance from gift cards previously entered.

  • A balance-limit statement showing a $250 maximum conflicts with another claim that the U.S. limit is $800, creating uncertainty about the correct cap.

  • Returning to Target for additional Paze rewards may not be worth the effort because the difference versus the current deal is described as not that big.

  • Stacking subscriptions through Loaded or Eneba can extend Game Pass Ultimate time, but it requires multiple redemption steps across different purchases.

  • Nintendo eShop gift cards can only be used to buy digital items, which limits flexibility for hardware or non-digital purchases.

Ugh, just picked up one from Target with the circle offer yesterday. With the paze rewards value it might be worth the effort to return to Target, but the difference isn't that big.

Incorrect, please research as needed. Able to buy physical items now
Can I get a link to this? I may start buying eshop gift cards and save up for the OLED version if this is the case.

Edit: nm - did it myself. Go to Nintendo store, click Hardware, select Switch 2, go to checkout, hit Apply balance from gift cards previously entered.

I see. Why didn't Nintendo rebrand eshop?
Same reason why people thought the Wii and Wii U were the same thing

This deal comes and goes, but it's live right now. Looks like you can get 5 at this price with the code SSF6899.

There are some good games on there at the moment, so might be worth dipping a toe back in.

Not a bad deal all things considered (i.e., Nintendo being greedy and eeking out every penny it can from its fans).

Buy 3x12 or 6x6 months of essential, redeem, then buy and redeem 1 month ultimate all from loaded or eneba. Youll get 1y8m of ultimate which for me came out to like $13 per month.
