Why are these so much pricier than the ICONS from Harbor Freight? Just the brand, or something else? If they were made in the USA, I could see it.

I love the idea of having the 3 seperate drive sets accompanied with the wrench, shallow, and deep sockets complete (Although this is a common sale price). For what you're getting this is perfect for creating a shop/garage baseline having SAE/Metric, especially if you find yourself doing a lot of mobile work. My only issue with mixed SAE/Metric sets is that you're usually not getting higher than a 19mm on the metric side and the SAE equivalent because of the space constraints. Lugs nuts, mounting bracket bolts, and other steering parts I find usually larger than this. Then you end up having to buy them and end up with loose sockets anyway because you can't add them to your kit. It is possible that this will drop lower getting closer to Father's Day for anyone interested in these sets.

These were $350 a month ago, so if you buy right now, you are way overpaying.

If you see these in person, the sockets are square so they don't roll away....and you get the handy case.

They aren't pricier than Icon. The Icon 1/4" 48-piece set is $120. 54-piece 3/8" is $160. And I don't see a 1/2" set.

I believe he's talking about that the ICON constantly go on sale for $80 (1/4") and $109 (3/8")
