Manufacturers listing a vice size by jaw width and not opening distance seems odd to me. I have always been more concerned with opening distance than jaw width when clamping stuff in a vice.

The link takes me to a 3.3 inch vise with an option of a 4.5 inch vise for $69

I am ready and willing to buy a vise, but I think Harbor Freight has better pricing. Next trip, for sure...
