It is also available on Steam for $10. The PC version has all the dlc included, but it lacks the online mode. Also, the Switch and Switch 2 are limited to 1080p and are scaled artificially, while the PC version can go to 4k. I would say the biggest choice would be whether you game on PC, or prefer portable. If you own a steam deck as well, it is probably better to purchase it on Steam unless you really want the online battles.

10 for monsters is a crazy price, may pick that up with little interest in the monsters series.

Good price on dragon quest monster!!! Was also good if you could get it for $15 at GameStop. I got it for $30 at bestbuy a month ago and couldn't return it :/

DQ XI looked like a blurry mess in handheld mode (540p) but boost mode on the Switch 2 makes it much sharper now (810p).

At my age, everything is blurry anyway. May as well save a bit on battery life ..lol.

It was my favorite monsters game since the original. Pay extra for the mole hole dlc, that'll let you catch monsters you've already synthed and will save you a TON of grinding
