Porting Number from Spectrum to T-Mobile... via Costco?

Hi
I have a Spectrum (landline, I guess) number that I have had for 15+ years. But it is rarely used... and costs $30 a month.
My phone activity has moved to T-Mobile as people just call me on my mobile phone now.
I have a second T-Mobile line that I use rarely, mostly just for games. There's like five people total who know that number, lol. Its a free line, so no cost atm. If I can keep it, great... but would prefer to keep the Spectrum number.
I am also a Costco member. I got the free line via Costco T-Mobile. I think I got a $75 Costco Shop Card when I opened it, awesome!
Never ported a number before. Is it even possible to move a "landline" to a mobile platform? Anything to look out for? Any promos going on?
Though I do have an older (Sprint) plan that is often not eligible for promotions. I don't want to lose it... six lines (including the free one) for $125/month
THANKS for any help and suggestions
