I find the front facing cord outlet to be annoying - Ryobi and Milwaukee have it in the back.

This (I have the older model) is my go-to for camping on hot summer nights. The 4AH battery lasts all night with the fan on around mid setting.

I also use this as a convenient way to cool down quickly after working in the yard almost to the point of overheating. I lay down on the cool laminate in my basement and point this bad boy at me on full.

If this thing pushes even more air I'd be impressed. Mine pushes a surprising amount of air.

Finally, I have the M12 fan and would choose this instead any day of the week. I should have bought two of these instead.

got about 6 ryobi and 1 of these ridgid fans. i like the ridgid better.

How do these compare to the Dewalt offering? I see they are $130 for a single fan...have been eyeing that one, but do have both Ridgid and Dewalt batteries.
