Were 11 years past 2015 and we still don't have AI jackets/shoes, flying cars and The Black & Decker Food Hydrator.

I have the trilogy in Blu-ray. How's the 4k? Is it worth the upgrade?

At this point, I think I've purchased the BTTF trilogy half a dozen times. It's one of my favorite franchises, but I think I'm going to hold out for the inevitable 50th anniversary. Of course, I'll naturally cave and end up buying this 40th anniversary set on 4K too.
Still waiting for my flying car... or even a hover conversion.

Why have you purchased the trilogy half a dozen times? I came here to post that I don't understand why the same movie needs to be released so many times.

I'm not Holly, but in my case, DVD, then BD, then 4k UHD. So, I've "only" purchased it 3 times. Maybe she also purchased the set digitally.

Maybe they bought it in LaserDisc, VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, Digital, and now 4K. There were also collector's editions/ultimate editions/anniversary /steelbook editions. This movie doesn't have Criterion and Kaleidoscope versions but quite easy to get more than dozen types of releases for the same movie, especially if you bought initial release. I wouldn't buy any other edition now than one in 4K + Digital but back then you would have needed the flux capacitor to get the 4K release.

Nice that this includes both the 4K and regular Blu-ray. I'm not much of a fan of the 4K only sets like the Indiana Jones 4K set or the Top Gun movies.
