Same price on guitar center/musicians friend too. I have no experience with these, but they seem to be pretty good for a basic home studio set up

Have had these for a while. Yes very strong and powerful. Not for a small studio. Sound clarity is clean and for price you are going to be happy if you pick up a pair at this price.
