I think you may need to use it as a renewal. Log in. select UPS My Choice. Under Your Premium Benefits on the bottom right of the page, click Renew. On that page, say yes you have a promotion code and enter the code.

Great...yet another company doing this subscription nonsense. Soon you won't be able to flush your toilet without paying a monthly subscription to the toilet manufacturer.

Used to work in the past -- but now I get an error message. Been trying for a month plus because there is also an AMEX offer of 5 off $19.99

Two key features in this
1) Whenever I'm away I don't have to pick up my boxes at the UPS center
2) Surprisingly, a lot of packages come UPS Ground Saver -- having this upgrades it to regular UPS Ground so you don't have to get the final delivery by the USPS which is trash

I use this to receive packages that require signatures, when I'm actually home. My UPS guy always comes when I'm at work, so it's worth the $20 just to not dick around with taking off work every time they need a signature. The UPS guy couldn't figure out why I wouldn't want to sign for a package at 3 PM. These dipshits must think everyone is either retired or a section 8 EBT recipient.

As far as extending memberships, you have to do it within a month of expiration. "Timing: Extensions generally work if the membership is expiring within the next month or has already expired; they may not apply to accounts with more than a month of remaining time."

You do realize you're not the only one that may need a signature and they also don't want to wait all night and go out the way for every single person's signature.. Also, if it's not alcohol, an apple product, or one of the very few shippers the require direct contact signatures, you can leave a signed note for them to leave the pkg. How tone deaf and first world problem can you be
