I am not sure how well they would connect and sound for the PS5, haven't tested it yet.
The sound stage is really nice. Very immersive, but not particularly loud or bass heavy. Battery lasts for hours. At least 4 hours or more on a single charge while playing.
I think at $150 it's not a bad price for the Portal.
Community Reviews
The PULSE Explore earbuds stand out most for PlayStation Portal and PS5 use, with fast pairing, low lag, and immersive sound that works especially well in supported 3D audio games. Battery life is solid, and they can also handle PC use, with some setups even allowing phone audio for podcasts while gaming. The main drawbacks are comfort, which can be poor without the right fit, and volume or bass that may feel underwhelming for some. At $149.99, they feel best suited to Portal focused gaming rather than general wireless earbuds.
The sound stage feels immersive and the battery lasts for hours during gaming sessions.
The earbuds connect immediately with a PlayStation Portal without requiring USB dongle setup.
The earbuds can deliver strong audio for supported 3D sound games and can sound very loud at max volume.
The black version includes a removable magnetic felt case cover that helps protect the charging case.
The earbuds can be not loud enough for some listeners and may feel not bass-heavy.
PS5 use can involve intermittent disconnects and audio cutting out when using the dongle.
The earbuds can be uncomfortable in-ear, and the included tips may be too short for some fitment.
The $149.99 price can feel overpriced versus alternatives, with some comparisons valuing them around $40-50.

A lot of people complained about connection problems, and I ran into those at the start too. But I noticed once I swapped the dongle to front usb port, I never got a drop again after that.
The usb port on the back of my ps5 would be really hot, and I guess that's maybe what led to connection drops.
Besides that, the lifecycle of the batteries in these have been great for me. Survives 3 hours gt7 sessions with no issues.
Whoever's complaining about them not being loud enough is nuts though.
These things SCREAM when I was playing Saros at max volume.
Overall, I'd say 7/10 for my use, that's also since I use them with my portal a lot. But I'd hold out for 125 for the average user.
