If all you want is 1gal. then by all means get the BLEACH VERSION regardless of manufacturer..

I have owned a few of these and they are fine for a couple years, especially if you don't store them outside in the sun. I would recommend the 1 gallon one over the 2 gallon. I bought a 2 gal one and regretted it. It is far heavier to lug around with 2 gallons and if you use it for only one gallon , you will spend lots more time and effort pumping.

I just used my HDX 1 gallon sprayer that set with some insecticide in it for over a year and it wasn't clogged and worked perfectly.

Id take the Chapin Home Gardener version any day over this HDX. I bought two of these and they only lasted one season. Don't remember what failed though. The pump handle is super flimsy.

This guy sprays. The HDX will leak. It's trash. The chapin is by far the better product. I have multiple sprayers for indoor vs outdoor and herbicide. The HDX will leak. Fine if you just want to use it once and throw it in the trash.

I've never had issues with these for resedential use. They generally last me 5 yrs or so. this is hte regular price tho
