Great deal! Bought this for around the same price last year on Woot! and love the fan. Gets a bit loud cranked up all the way but it's fairly quiet on the lower speeds.

Got this factory reconditioned woot at $67.50 last month (4/15) reference.

Pro- noise low at low speeds, becomes nuisance at 60% 3 bars or higher.

Cons- small fan channel is a bottleneck, picture compressed air. Would have trouble moving air, very isolated areas.

True. How will it chop the bananas I throw at it or assist me in torturing people that owe me money?! Totally useless.

I'm confused. It's advertised as "bladeless" but then the specs say it has dual blades and also say it has a TurboBlade.

I had a pretty unpleasant experience purchasing this particular fan from woot. The remote didn't work, which remove some of the functionality. They offered me the option to pay to ship it back to them, or $20 credit for me to take it to a local repair shop, which seemed like a comical response.

bladeless as it doesn't have the traditional flywheel blade turning that's visible. Their "dual blade" and "turbo blade" refers to where the air is coming out shaped like a blade, not the actual flywheel fan blade.

I got a refurbished unit from Woot for $100. The noise that this makes is very noticeable and cannot sleep to it. Using it now as a living room fan which is disappointing because for the high price tag the expectation should be that these should be made/designed better.

Well... you should try taking it to Emmett's Fix-It Shop and see what he can do...

Remember that old engineering saying....
"The hardest part of making a perpetual motion machine is how you hide the battery"
