When you hold it, you will feel quality. It's a well made tool and watertight. I agree that it is pricey, especially when you consider cost of brushes. I bought some preemptively and haven't had a reason to open them yet. They are well made and tough too.

I've been considering buying one of these. I thought the compact version would be better for the car, especially when it comes to cleaning the tires. Does having soap dispensing make a significant difference? You can get the non-soap dispensing model with batteries during the Ryobi Days special.
