I just got it, but I'm actually surprised how much I like it already. It's certainly well built and very solid. Resistence level adjustment is easy and provides plenty of resistance levels in a compact easy to use device. Definitely worth the $30 to me.

Do what's proven to work, and don't toss your money away just because yot got duped or shilled by SD and china salesmen.
I would not fall for the claims that this tool is a complete substitute for your free weights or aerobic routine but I was very happy with the results I got from the Bullworker decades ago and basic science of exercise tells me I will not be disappointed with this.
Looks like the pro max has a LCD counter that the pro does not. I see no other difference in size, weight, or appearance between Pro and Pro Max.
