You can get a better Roblox machine than this for a little less but it won't have this machine's well rounded features with nice screen, great battery life, good design, etc. Frankly it's a good value for most anything, but the Intel 258V does have strong integrated graphics for low end gaming.

I set it up that night and all seems fine - screen is beautiful, no scratches or dead pixels. I don't know why it was marked "fair," but my guess is that's policy for floor demo models? This was apparently a demo model rather than return, evidenced by the fact that the dummy Best Buy Windows account was still logged in when I turned the machine on at home (BB should have wiped the computer!).
It took me a minute to figure out how to reset a fresh Windows install. When I tried to do so, Windows said I needed to enter an admin password, which obviously I didn't have for Best Buy's demo account. But I quickly found a Reddit thread that explained how to solve this problem. It worked perfectly, and within a few minutes I had a fresh install.
One other thing to note: Lenovo showed the warranty to be expired. However, through Googling I learned that you can have Lenovo update your warranty date to date or purchase if you fill out an online form and provide a copy of your receipt. I did so, and in less than 24 hours I had response from Lenovo that my warranty start date had been updated. When I log into Lenovo now, I see the computer has one year left on its warranty. That was surprisingly easy!
I think this is a great laptop for the price. The 32GB of RAM is huge in today's environment, where even a lot of 2026 premium laptops are coming with 16GB.
If I had one complaint about the laptop, I'd note that the back shell is very thin metal, and I hear creaking when I pick the laptop up with one hand - sounding like the back panel is flexing or creaking against screws. I may unscrew the back panel, reseat it, and screw it down tightly, and see if that resolves the creaking. But that's not a big deal.
