LimonCello is a polarizing sparkling water with a strong vanilla cream or floral soap edge rather than a clean lemon profile. The flavor has been called sweet, bitter, and even dish soap like, though it also has fans who rank it among the best sparkling waters and a longtime favorite. The pack size can be awkward when it includes 12 cans of this flavor, and Costco pricing is often cited as lower on comparable La Croix variety packs. A niche citrus mixer if the flavor profile works for you.

Common Questions (4)

  • It often does not read as a bright lemon flavor; it can taste more like vanilla cream, cream soda, or even floral dish soap with bitter notes. A few people still like it, but the citrus profile is weak compared with the name.

  • Yes. Some people call it their favorite La Croix flavor or the best sparkling water they have tried, while others find it too sweet, weak, or unpleasant enough not to finish.

  • Costco pricing mentioned in the thread is lower: a 24-pack was reported at $9.49, and another Costco variety pack was bought for $9.99. A warehouse price of $7.50 for 24 variety packs was also cited, so this online deal is not the cheapest option mentioned.

  • Yes. Mixing it with True Lemon or True Lime packets can make it taste more citrus-forward, and one person also uses half a can with half a glass of Tejava tea as a custom drink.

A 24 pack of La Croix at Costco is $9.49, so no.
It's been on sale for less than that recently but not the Limoncello

I wasn't a fan of these either.
Like someone else said, they tasted much more like vanilla than lemon.
But taste is subjective and they keep selling these so there must be enough of a demand.

I like actual limoncello but idk about the flavor
It tastes like a floral dishsoap with bitter notes. Very disgusting flavor/aroma.

What happened to 12 pack? New industry practice. Shrink the number of cans and set the price in the higher range between 6 &12 to give consumers an impression that they are getting a deal.

Yeah, went from 12 packs to 8 packs and raised the price, on water...

The best tasting of all of the sparkling waters that I've tried. Seems like you love it or you hate it type of flavor.

I got this in a 12 pack from Aldi a couple weeks ago. I remember it being about $1 more than the Aldi Belle Vie 12 pack - so around $5? As others have said, it's more of a vanilla cream and not much lemon but we still like it. My wife likes to add true-lemon or true-lime packets to her sparkling water anyway so that makes this one really good if you like that kind of thing.

Aldi belle Vie is the best, price wise and basic flavor wise.
