This is a fair deal. I have an older version from this brand that I've had for nearly 10 years. It has cooked several hundred pounds of jasmine rice and does a great job every time. Everyone has their own recipe, but we do a tablespoon of olive oil or ghee with the rice as well as some garlic and onion powder and a scallion, mix it up once it warms up after a few minutes and delicious rice every time.

Non-stick teflon coating eventually scratches & wears off, resulting in you ingesting trace amounts of teflon. Look for stainless steel inner pot & your gut biome will thank you.
