Arizona Green Tea with ginseng and honey is being called out for its low per bottle price, especially with Subscribe and Save, and it is still cheaper than Costco or Sam's Club in some comparisons. The drink is described as real sugar sweetened, with the zero sugar version priced much higher. The main drawback is the recurring mold or slime issue on some cans, while bottles seem to fare better. A budget tea pick if the packaging issue does not concern you.
Common Questions (4)
Yes. The price drops to under $6 with Subscribe & Save, which works out to about 50 cents per 16-oz can and is cheaper than Costco for some shoppers.
Some cans and bottles have reportedly arrived with mold or slime on the outside, and one 12-pack was described as having it on every can. Bottles may be less affected, but the issue appears inconsistent enough that it may be a YMMV purchase.
No. The zero-sugar version is reported at $12.50, which makes the regular sweetened version cheaper per bottle even though it is mostly sugar.
Sam's Club is mentioned as selling a 24-pack for about $10 to $12, with one version made with real sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup. That makes Sam's a strong benchmark if you are comparing per-bottle cost.
