Step 1: Check your Amex cards for offers. Abt.com currently has $125 cash back offer for a $900+ purchase. Some may have $100 off $1000+ purchase.
Note: Not every account will have this, hence YMMV! Looks like the offer might also be different for different cardholders, including a $100 off $1,000. Mine expires on 7/31/2026, so if you want to hold out for a potentially even greater price difference, there's that option, as well.
Step 2: Abt.com will price match to Costco or Amazon via chat (they will send a secure payment link). You do still pay tax on $1099. For me (OR) the final price after the cash back posts will be $974.
Clarification: I paid $1099, which will trigger the credit. The $974 price will be reflected once the AMEX offer posts.
