I got a pair of Suncloud once but it was too small so returned it. Impression was the lenses were top notch, but the frame itself was super flimsy and cheap. I believe they are owned by Smith, so they use their lens tech - this is like their cheaper brand line.
1) I've had both Suncloud and Knockaround sunglasses before and, although Suncloud is typically about twice the Knockaround price (and twice the price of other cheaper brands like Goodr), their lenses in particular seem to be much higher quality and much more durable. I don't worry too much about damaging the Suncloud lenses but I feel like the Knockaround lenses will get scratched if I just look at them wrong. So at $20, this deal is a no-brainer.
2) I don't know if this is a common issue or not, since I bought my Sunclouds at Sierra (TJ Maxx-owned), but after a little less than a year, the tortoiseshell frame coating started flaking off at the bridge (I think I had the Milestones). Not a ton, but every other time I wore them, I would end up with some tiny brown/black flakes on the bridge of my nose. I would have used their warranty, but unfortunately I couldn't find my receipt. They're still really good sunglasses, particularly at this pricepoint, but keep that in mind if you buy them.
