I noticed that these are great at cleaning grease. But if the clog is mostly hair or other hard particles, your best bet is to snake it.

Agreed. You can get some cheap kits on Amazon as well for $6-7. You might even want the ones that have a sink snake included as those can help remove extra debris.

I got one of these last year when it was $10 cheaper, but that or similar is still handy for extreme clogs that plunger or liquids don't solve without needing to call roto plumber.
