As a big guy, this seems like a decent price if they hold up. The cheapo camp chairs, at walmart and the likes, are near-disposable pricing but if you're 200#+ they may well break in a single use as well.

I've got a pod rocker and it is nice, but thinking of grabbing a 2 pack to have some regular camp chairs too.

edit: looking at the pictures in the reviews, it looks like it most certainly isn't rated for 500# (label says 300#) and the breaks and rips in the backing all seem like poor quality. I'll pass and look for a better option.

Seems like kind of a higher price for a generic chinese brand folding chair isn't it? Padded could be nice in cooler weather, but not so nice in the summer.

Best luck I've had with my 350+ Dad has been the GCI Outdoor Freestyle Rocker XL with Side Table Oversized Rocking Outdoor Portable Camping Chair. It runs $95, but I picked one up for $60 last holiday season. Label says it supports up to 400lbs.

I got this one and another one from Costco 300lb for $36. Costco is much more comfortable. I did a blind test with all my family: 3 adults and two kids different age. Nobody liked this crap. Preferred Costco chair. I'm returning this Sunnyfeel.
P.S. I'm 6.2" and 200lbs.

I've been looking for some nice. XL camping chairs, but decent ones seem to be in the $70+, especially the padded ones. I just ended up finding some used ones on Facebook marketplace place for about this price. Just a thought if you're on a budget.
