We got some sets of these because they seem good for light picnic foods served in our garage or on the patio. I do love how deep the bowls are. Nice size for a side salad. I hate using plastic plates for anything I need to cut with a knife, but for sandwiches and chips or chicken wings with potato salad they work out great.

I use the plates all the time for transporting and giving baked goods. No worries about getting a $0.50 plate returned.
