Got it discounted as a returned model. No issues with reliability so far. It's actually compatible with other Vizio soundbar remotes which is helpful because they removed features from the device on the app. You can change the soundbar to direct mode, for instance, and the app will confirm its in that mode but will allow you no way to do it without the IR remote. Vizio support basically said the app has numerous issues and that was a year ago.

I just got the AX700 and haven't had any issues thus far. Been quite nice in my apartment living room setup. Though I've never had any speaker system prior to that so no real frame of reference.

I have a vizio sound bar have had it since November and it's been great. Only once had a connection issue I'm sure others are better but for rn it's been solid. I will now always take any sound system over TV speakers.

Trash product. Vizio is absolute garbage these days. I will never buy another Vizio product. You are guaranteed to have connection problems with this. This brand needs to die. The days of Vizio being a lot of bang for your buck are over a decade gone. Now, you get what you pay for.

I bought what's maybe an old version of this -v51 (speakers are not as rounded looking) about 6 years ago for same price and it's been great. Love it.

I bought the previous model of this sound bar and the sound quality is very good except for voice clarity. You need a soundbar with dedicated speaker for voices for that. But for action movies tih dolby atmos its amazing feels like I'm in a movie theater. No disconnect issues here but I have it connected via earc
