Just a heads up - most of these are one-way devices with a dedicated source and sink end.

This will only allow you to connect a display port device to an HDMI tv/monitor.

This WILL NOT allow you to take an HDMI device and hook it up to a display port on a monitor.

How does this compare to this one that Best Buy also sells by Insignia? For some reason the one in the link below is more expensive but I'm not sure why

Note that seems to be HDMI 2.0, not 2.1. So you still can not get 144hz at 4k with this.
