Jumped on a similar deal from Amazon a while back and it came in the plastic bag. Rice tasted different and didn't cook to the same consistency as the jute version. I'd stick with local stores for a household staple like rice.
Community Reviews
Royal basmati rice is the main draw here, with the deal landing at less than a dollar per pound and, after discounts, around the mid 20s for 30 pounds. The price is described as the best seen in about a year, and it fits everyday use for sides, biryani, and other savory dishes. Packaging is a recurring detail, with this version arriving in plastic bags with a faux jute look and a clear inner liner rather than true jute. The main cautions are that local club and Asian store prices can be close, and the brand is questioned for fragrance, grain length, and occasional chemical taste.
Households cooking biryani or side rice regularly, because the basmati holds up well in everyday use and is praised as a strong price for frequent meals.
Shoppers buying rice for saucy South Asian or Filipino dishes, because it pairs well with coconut, soy, tomato, vinegar, adobo, pancit, and lumpia.
Rice eaters who wash grains before cooking, because rinsing two or three times helps reduce surface arsenic and the rice cooks well in an Instant Pot.
Bulk rice buyers who store pantry staples long term, because basmati can age well and improve in flavor when kept pest-free.
Frequent rice buyers who compare against warehouse-store pricing, because similar or lower prices were cited at Sam's Club and Costco.
Shoppers expecting true basmati fragrance and long grains, because this rice is described as lacking basmati aroma and resembling a different variety.
Families who want the same texture and flavor as jute-bag basmati, because the plastic packaging version was reported to taste different and cook less consistently.
People who want a rice that works in soup dishes, because this basmati was specifically called out as unsuitable for soups.

I spent over a month at the Subic Bay Naval Base when it was still a thing. I had to go outside of the base to taste this the first time. also, you might want to Google pancit and lumpia to accompany the adobo.
Bon Appetit!

The arsenic levels in rice are probably something a person who eats a lot of rice daily should at least think about, but I'm not one of those people. I personally don't care about either one for myself.
