Got one of these types of cordless vacuums off Temu for around the same price. Can't speak to this one specifically but the one I got doesn't have any sort of self propulsion so when I use it on my thinner "machine washable" rug it really just wants to grab the whole rug and stick in place. Take that as you may.

That sucks! But, I had a Dyson V6 that did the exact same thing with area rug edges. Regular carpets fine. But my Dyson crapped out at 3 months.

Throw-away vacuums? I've had just about all of them over the years.

Don't laugh, but my Hart vacuum has actually been the best one I've owned in that category. It surprised me. For a budget, everyday vacuum, it's been reliable and has done a great job.

But when it comes to carpets and rugs, I still don't think anything beats a Riccar. In my opinion, they're still the gold standard for deep cleaning and durability.
