I've tried to upload a closeup of one of the images so you can see where it says Cr-Mo but slickdeals keeps accepting it then not adding it to the post. Tried several browsers, with and w/o adblock, and mobile. 😡
The succebuy branded name is dumb and unfortunate, but hopefully the true slickdealers see through all that. I just can't imagine another complete 1/2" socket set of this size and weight ever going for much cheaper than this. Just try to send any, 30lb package anywhere via UPS or Fed Ex these days, you're looking at $20+ just to ship it. This deal is crazy cheap for what you're getting.
Community Reviews
This 65 piece 1 2 inch impact socket set stands out as a very low cost way to get a huge, heavy garage kit with both SAE and metric sizes. The sockets have been used successfully on impacts for car, mower, and roadside jobs, and the set is repeatedly described as solid value for the money. The case is bulky and awkward, and the sockets arrive coated in oil with a strong smell that needs airing out. Material labeling is also a concern, since the listing says CR V while some photos and received sets show Cr Mo or chrome vanadium.
Common Questions (5)
At roughly $32 to $40, it is widely treated as a strong value for a complete 1/2" set, especially given the 33-pound weight and large socket count. The main tradeoffs are the heavy case, strong oil smell, and possible material-label uncertainty.
It often arrives Vevor-branded, with the case and sockets showing Vevor on the set. Some listings use the SucceBuy name, but the received product is commonly the Vevor version.
The listing text says CR-V, but multiple photos and received sets show Cr-Mo or chrome vanadium markings. That matters because impact sockets are normally expected to be CR-Mo, so the material labeling is worth checking when it arrives.
The case is very heavy and bulky, but several buyers say the sockets stay loose in it and the layout is awkward. It works as storage, but many plan to use magnetic rails or another organizer instead.
Yes, it has held up for common impact jobs like brake, mower, and catalytic-converter work, and some users report a year or more of regular use with no issues. A few note extra socket play and thick walls that can make tight spaces harder.

It's worth a shot now that I see they are shipped via FedEx ground. I'd probably jump on it if I didn't just buy a bunch of impact sockets from Harbor Freight
