I've tried to upload a closeup of one of the images so you can see where it says Cr-Mo but slickdeals keeps accepting it then not adding it to the post. Tried several browsers, with and w/o adblock, and mobile. 😡
The succebuy branded name is dumb and unfortunate, but hopefully the true slickdealers see through all that. I just can't imagine another complete 1/2" socket set of this size and weight ever going for much cheaper than this. Just try to send any, 30lb package anywhere via UPS or Fed Ex these days, you're looking at $20+ just to ship it. This deal is crazy cheap for what you're getting.
Community Reviews
This 65 piece 1 2 inch impact socket set stands out as a very low cost way to get a huge, heavy garage kit with both SAE and metric sizes. The sockets have been used successfully on impacts for car, mower, and roadside jobs, and the set is repeatedly described as solid value for the money. The case is bulky and awkward, and the sockets arrive coated in oil with a strong smell that needs airing out. Material labeling is also a concern, since the listing says CR V while some photos and received sets show Cr Mo or chrome vanadium.
The set can deliver a lot of 1/2-inch sockets for the money, with buyers calling it a very low price for a complete kit.
The set can arrive quickly via major retailers, and some shipments can be Vevor-branded as expected.
The sockets can hold up for impact use over extended home projects, including lawnmower blade and other small jobs.
The included case can be very substantial, and the set can feel heavy enough to suggest solid build for garage use.
The sockets may not be truly impact-rated, because the listing claims CR-V while impact sockets are expected to be CR-Mo.
The set can arrive with a strong oil or chemical smell, and some buyers report needing to air it out.
The case can be awkward and heavy, and some buyers report sockets not staying in place inside the container.
The socket mix can be inconsistent, including reports of missing deep 10mm sockets or receiving an incorrect socket.
