I just bought the River 2 at my Home Depot a couple days ago for $199. With the veterans discount it was $180.

This looks like a great deal, I paid $130 for a refurbished River 2 256W unit, only advantage of that is weight/size.

River 2 or River 2 Pro at Home Depot?

The Pro has lot more capacity (716 wh vs 256) and a lot more power (800w vs 300w).

If it's the Pro, that's a great deal at HD.

followed your link and got it for $10 less. That is a good enough price I am willing to replace the fan which is too loud and then replace my UPS with this. Otherwise the Jackery 1000v2 at $250 earlier which is dead quiet would be a better deal. Thanks op.

When I first got one, it was able to power my portable fridge for 2+ days. I just plugged it in yesterday and it died this morning. Battery degradation is real.

Did you top it off before you ran it again? If it's been sitting for awhile, the SoC reading on the screen was likely off since it's a LiFePO4 battery.

I had this issue as well on my Delta 2. It used to power my Dometic CFX75DZ for a little over 4 days when it's pre chilled. Now I get a day and a half at the very most.
