This URLIFE folding e-bike stands out as a cheap way to get a 20 inch, 48 volt, 1000 watt ride with a removable battery and enough punch for short trips. The green version has been the easiest way to make the promo work, and the bike can reach 28 mph after unlocking, with some reports of that speed already available out of the box. Real world range lands closer to 20 to 25 miles than the advertised figure, and the compact frame feels better suited to smaller riders. Main cautions are wobble at speed, abrupt pedal assist, and recurring controller and warranty hassles.

Common Questions (4)

  • The deal can be finicky: the extra discount may only apply with the green color, and some checkouts require switching payment to PayPal 4-installments and then back to regular PayPal to make the $35 show up. The coupon still works for some buyers, but the final price has also been reported higher when the sale price changes.

  • It is a 1000W, 28 mph bike, which can put it outside e-bike limits in many places; throttle-equipped bikes are often limited to 20 mph, and some states may treat this class as a motor vehicle requiring registration or licensing. The CE mark mentioned is European self-certification, not UL/ETL safety certification.

  • No. Real-world range is reported around 20-25 miles, and about 20 miles is more realistic if you ride throttle-heavy; much longer range would require pedaling and staying near 15 mph or less.

  • The speed unlock can be done through the display settings: press and hold the + and - buttons for a few seconds, then change screen value A3 to increase the top speed to 28 mph. Do not change other screen values, since that can damage the motor or controller.

You have to apply the PayPal coupon first and then apply 58USDEALSS
Ok I'm dumb as hell lol, first time buying off this site. I added to cart then I hit the PayPal button and confirmed payment method it comes out to $388 with tax, next I add the coupon it drops to $324 after tax, but not seeing the paypal discount. I tried on my wife's phone but I can't get it with her PayPal account either.

There are very few places in America where anything over 750 watts would legally qualify as an ebike. And if it has a throttle it can't go over 20mph.
Thanks. I know a number of cities across America are clamping down due to injuries of older kids riding them. I am sure adults also. I had heard in early days, you just needed to be able to peddle, but now these bikes have become so cheap and powerful they are showing up all over the place.

Why buy a bike you're just going to have to throw away in 3 - 4 years?

The actual range in real world usage is 20-25 miles. No way it's anywhere near 80.

Has anyone found a software update or fix to address the pedal assist issue? I bought a pair last fall and the pedal assist is a little dangerous. Even on the lowest setting if you start to pedal it kicks in a shoots you off like a rocket. I've nearly ran into parked cars or wrecked. The only fix I've seen so far is to disconnect the sensor wire. I tried various settings and changes in the service menu with no luck. Other than that we've just trained ourselves to only pedal once we've already gotten moving using only the throttle.

i bought this last time and its pretty decent for $300. the motor controller did break basically right away but i was able to get a free replacement from URLIFE. after getting the replacement i dissembled the broken one and it was a little corroded as if it spent a month in a humid shipping container. basically its cheap for a reason, but as long as you know what your getting into its not too bad.

3 to 4 years of biking for $300 is phenomenal value 🤣 there are plenty of use cases where this bike makes sense for people. my main mode of transportation is biking and i have this bike as a backup incase i cant use my other bike for some reason. i thought about selling it but its worth $300 to me to have a backup bike.

is this an ebike or a motor bike in California? Is there peddle assist and can you turn off the motor and just peddle?
You definitely don't want to buy one of these for use without the motor, and most places will ticket you based on the capabilities of the bike, regardless of actually using them.

It's a class 3 ebike, which some places consider motor bikes. I wouldn't chance it in CA.

In NJ there's a new law that requires insurance and a valid license for class 3. Also limits to only road use. Goes into effect this summer.

Thanks, I think I heard that CA was also looking at new laws due to some deaths of some kids. We see kids on them here riding around in groups and doing wheelies...

Pretty sure you could just run away at 28mph and say you didn't hear or see them. Considering all the other chaos are they really going to enforce this?
