The Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 is landing as a high capacity backup and camping power station, with enough output for sump pumps, home outages, and longer van life use. The 2040Wh battery and 2200W AC output drew praise for the price, especially when cashback and stacked discounts pushed totals down near $400 or even lower. It also supports UPS use and arrived working for most buyers, with warranty registration and Jackery direct store details helping ease some seller concerns. Main caveats are fan noise, AFCI breaker trips, and occasional shipping or checkout quirks, so it fits best where those limits are not a problem.
Common Questions (5)
The listing is shown as sold by Jackery US Direct Store, and Jackery's where-to-buy page has listed AliExpress as an official online store for some users. A buyer also registered the 5-year warranty after delivery, though the official store list appears inconsistent across browsers and pages.
Yes, the deal has been stacked with AliExpress welcome or promo codes, PayPal discounts, and cashback, bringing some totals down to about $399-$430 and even lower in one case. The extra 10% cashback appears capped at $50, and some promo codes can expire or be used up.
It is being used as backup power for a sump pump, router/modem, and NAS systems, and the UPS transfer time is reported around 20 ms. It can also trip AFCI breakers, so it may be better suited to GFCI circuits or loads that tolerate nuisance trips.
No. Shipping can be browser-dependent, with the listing working for some NJ addresses in Firefox while Mobile, Edge, and Safari show "This product can't be shipped to your address."
Yes, it has fan noise, unlike the Explorer 1000v2 which is described as noiseless. That makes the 2000 v2 less suitable for a bedroom or other quiet space.

I take it back. "This product can't be shipped to your address. Select another product or address."

Added a 400W Renogy portable suitcase panel as well. Need to find an adapter for that now.
I'll try to report back tomorrow if the cashback thing goes through - it's my first time using that cashback site so they gave an extra ten percent and I'd be pretty annoyed if I didn't get the $235 back I'm expecting from those 2 items. The checkout screen has been hanging for a while, probably not a great sign.. but the order went through. I don't see anything pending in the cashback app yet. I'll give it some time.

Mainly because they're rigid and I like the Renogy brand from back in my vanlife days. Hopefully they're easier to deal with in wind than the flexible panels, I'll be using them in a place that regularly has high wind. These panels also have good performance in partial shade and I'll be in a heavily forested area - don't want to worry too much about constantly rearranging them for maximum exposure.
Seems the 2000 is better for longer-term camping/van-life or having more substantial backup power for home outages, etc. We actually have a gas generator at home and I've used it maybe once but these incidents are pretty rare.
