Domino's 50 percent off menu-priced pizzas is mainly a way to get a fresh, customizable pie with more topping choices and nearby stores, and the XL New York style gets a nod for its size. The deal can still land around $8 to $11 for a large, with specialty pizzas and stuffed crust drawing praise for value and filling portions. Garlic parm sauce, well done baking, and extra sauce are recurring favorites. The main caveat is that pricing, fees, and participation vary by location, and some orders can lose value once delivery or minimum order charges appear.

  • Late-night diners wanting a customizable pie, because the garlic parm sauce and well-done bake can still make the pizza taste good.

  • Families wanting a filling pizza meal, because the stuffed crust is very filling and can cover a couple of pizza meals.

  • Shoppers who want a larger pie with more topping choices, because the XL New York style is 16 inches and the menu offers more topping options than some alternatives.

  • People who like a crisp, garlicky crust with generous sauce and toppings, because the crust can be just right and the pizza does not skimp on sauce or toppings.

Literally, the first ingredient in Dominos cheese is "pasteurized milk".
Yeah, this debate has been going on for years. But meanwhile, all the people sensitive to lactose eating Dominos pizza...

Introduce some competition https://slickdeals.net/f/19580130-pizza-hut-10-large-hand-tossed-3-topping-pizza-ymmv?src=category_pageWhich is cheaper with toppings and large (even after Domino's 50% off)?In my area, I did this with three toppings and hand tossed and it beats Pizza Hut by $0.82. Wonder what Little Caesar's (LC) price would be...Edit: $11.97 for LC
Costco Pizza is better than pizza hut and Caesars

But then I would have to foot the membership. I was a member for some time, but I could find less quantity for a good deal at Kroger. No point traveling in a zoo to get a box of their pizza.

Everybody always complaining about the membership cost. If you get the Costco Visa card and use it for all your Costco purchases you get 2% back and 5% back on all gas purchased there. This easily covers the membership fee and then some.

The New York style comes in XL (16"). For those not good with math 16" pizza is 30% larger than a 14".

Not as good an option as the costco pizzas. But more topping options and stores usually closer than costco.
I don't dislike Costco pizza but navigating their parking lot is pure h3ll most of the time sadly. Great tip on maximizing food or calories by going with an XL.

The only way to save at Costco is to spend your way into saving. Note how it was stated that I would have to get the membership and now I am applying for a credit card. Then what do I do with the credit card? I have to spend money to get some amount of my money back and what I save (which I cannot cash that out) is going to cover what I just spent on the membership.

Meanwhile, I spend what a BOGO deal is at at Kroger and I spend like $1 more because I do not buy in the quantity Costco has.

It is like people buying gift cards off a deal on this site to make it seem like they are getting a better deal on something that is priced up at, and I write, Dominos.

So do you just buy Domino's at face value 50% off when the deal is going on. Or do I buy a discounted Domino's gift card at $40 (because it was $50) and then I find a deal for 30% off pizzas and then I write, "Oh hey guys, I got a pizza for $10 off $20 because I used a gift card that I saved $10 on and now it magically makes the pizza 50% off (Note* I did not calculate everything in this example down to the actual amount off, I just was using it as an example)."

I just want good deals without the run around you know?

Papa johns all seem to be very consistent with their pizza, they've all been ok for a chain, but dominos vary a lot from store to store. The one near me is OK. Thanks OP!

Not even close to mid. FROZEN pizzas at Walmart are $7-8. Getting a fresh made pizza for $10 is a good deal.

I think SD members must be mostly older generations. Inflation hits hard after 5-7 decades

This is why one needs a range to go by. Today, Pizza's should be around $10.875 in a $7.25/hr. state on the outer limit (because usually 1.5 times the minimum wage in that state) and depending on if this individual lives in California, affordability goes up to $25.35 on a $16.90/hr. wage. The individual wants it to be lower than $11 (however, it will never happen in the state they are in).

So yeah, it is believable that a pizza could in fact cost $22 or more.

I would find it outrageous because I live in a state where the cost of living is low and the wage is $7.25/hr.
I'm an Elder Millienial so not that old lol. My point was the deals that they typically run.I have a local offer for a $8 one topping large, menu price for this is $18 so even at 50% its still more spendy.I also can get a 3 topping for $12, menu price it is 22 so I saved a buck. This isn't a front page deal.

Frozen pizzas run anywhere from 3 (low-end, very good sale) to $6 for any name brand run of the mill pizza (Tombstone, Jacks, Red Barron, Kroogers/Safeway, etc).

I'm just saying if there are groceries/items that I need, I have to spend the money in order to get those. If I'm spending the money, why not use the available kickbacks/tools provided to you? If I'm going to get charged $65 for a membership fee, I want to make sure it's worth it to me to get more back than I'm spending for it.

Side note... you can absolutely cash out the rebate checks. I do it every year. This is only for the 2% rebate from the Costco Visa card though.

Oh okay. Got it. It definitely does work for your situation. Thanks for the suggestion.
My parents do that. They get rebate checks and spend enough to get the cash back.
All I get in cash back is for restaurants and gas on the credit card I have. Works for me.

Nice!
If you can find better deals than what is on this site, it just works in your favor.
