Try using their app. I always get the SD advertised pricing (until deal expires) using the AliExpress app.

This is pretty solid if starting with nothing. The bits and Allen keys here are doing a lot of lifting in the 450 piece claim though so it may not be all encompassing, but for someone just doing an oil change or very basic tasks, this probably fits the bill nicely

This, buyer beware. AliExpress is becoming more difficult to get a refund for damaged items, which happens to about a quarter-to-third of everything I bought from them, even with "Choice" items. I don't find the cost savings to be enough for generally most things they sell anymore to be worth the headache of getting a refund. I recently had to wrestle with them to get a $13 refund for a fan they sent me that was crushed during shipping and not properly padded.

This 450 piece Vevor SucceBuy mechanics set looks best for basic home DIY, oil changes, and starting from scratch. The socket assortment is mostly 12 point, which can help in tight spaces, and the kit includes lots of bits and Allen keys. That also means the piece count is doing a lot of work, so it is not especially comprehensive for tougher or more specialized jobs. The main caution is checkout pricing and AliExpress fulfillment, where the total can jump, discounts can expire, and heavy-item shipping or refunds may be frustrating.

In case it helps others...This shows $121.32 before a $14 off $89 coupon when I'm signed into AliExpress. If I open it in incognito, it shows the OP price. When I sign in, it increases the price to the $121.32. I did purchase the 65 piece 1/2 impact socket set deal earlier today, so that may be the reason.

I've used AliExpress many times and in my experience shipping heavy items never turns out good. I would be cautious.

I have some questions for whichever Vevor exec thought that naming its subsidiary brand something that looks like it's pronounced "Sucky Buy" was a winning marketing move.

I don't trust using AliExpress anylonger. Every time I login, #'s change at every turn even at check-out. I wish I could block aliexpress posts from SD. It'll save me $ and time.

No, I was saying I'd buy it at $40

I have way too many tool sets, and I'm not sure what this has that my others dont. BUT, for $40, I'd get it anyway.
