This 450 piece Vevor SucceBuy mechanics set looks best for basic home DIY, oil changes, and starting from scratch. The socket assortment is mostly 12 point, which can help in tight spaces, and the kit includes lots of bits and Allen keys. That also means the piece count is doing a lot of work, so it is not especially comprehensive for tougher or more specialized jobs. The main caution is checkout pricing and AliExpress fulfillment, where the total can jump, discounts can expire, and heavy-item shipping or refunds may be frustrating.
Common Questions (4)
Yes. The listed deal price can change when signed in, and the final checkout screen can recalculate the total if a discount expires. Using incognito or the AliExpress app reportedly shows the advertised price more reliably.
Yes. It is described as solid for starting from nothing and suitable for basic tasks like oil changes and general home DIY. The caveat is that much of the 450-piece count comes from bits and Allen keys, so it is not a fully comprehensive mechanic set.
Yes, it is mostly 12-point sockets. That helps in tight spaces where a socket is hard to seat, but 6-point sockets are better when you need higher torque or want less risk of rounding a compromised bolt head.
Yes, a similar item is reported at about $46 before coupons, and another attempted listing showed a lower price before changing into a different 150-piece set at checkout. That makes it worth verifying the exact item and final cart contents before paying.

You can get this whole thing for $40?
I have way too many tool sets, and I'm not sure what this has that my others dont. BUT, for $40, I'd get it anyway.
