Just waiting for the Samsung haters to come out and storm the thread
you can add me to that list. well kinda. we have this exact model and the ice maker freezes up every 2 weeks. i sealed the inside with thermal duct and cleaned the flaps and seals, no luck. also the drain for some reason runs right through a screw hole in the back so yeah it spews out rusty water. had 2 technicians try to remove the rear panel and check things out and they both gave up because the screw is rusted and threaded out. great fridge other than that.
Samsung makes good TVs and screens in general. Not so good on refrigerators.
If you really want a Korean brand, go with LG with a smart compressor (avoid the ones with a linear compressor as those had a class action lawsuit due to excessive failure rates)

Of course there are Samsung haters as Samsung has some of the worst reviews and customer problems out of all Fridges. Even Consumer Reports rates them low.

I have TWO Sammy's from about 5-10 years ago. Their rear-circulation fans fail. I use a little USB-powered fan to push the air up, but they are quiet and run well, as long as you realize that fan WILL fail.
