This Skytech Azure 3 Plus is a strong midrange gaming prebuilt built around the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Radeon 9070 XT, and 32GB of DDR5. The price looks competitive against similar builds, especially versus Micro Center and Skytech's own website, and the CPU and GPU combo is hard to match for the money. The main knocks are the 1TB SSD, possible lower tier supporting parts, and a RAM spec mismatch between listings. It feels most compelling if you want these specs now and do not have a nearby Micro Center.

  • The CPU and GPU combo is hard to find elsewhere under about $2.1k, which supports the listed price as competitive.

  • Skytech packaging reportedly arrives with zero visible shipping damage, which reduces setup risk on delivery.

  • A similar Skytech configuration is reportedly priced around $2.5k on Skytech's own website, making the Walmart listing look like a discount by comparison.

  • The deal can be worthwhile if you need a ready-made system now rather than waiting for better component availability.

  • The price tracker reportedly shows the system at $1,599 since March and then posted higher today, which raises doubts about whether it is truly discounted.

  • The storage configuration is limited to 1TB, which can be a dealbreaker for shoppers wanting 2TB NVMe capacity.

  • A RAM specification mismatch reportedly exists between the Walmart listing and Skytech's description, which can affect expectations for speed and RGB.

  • Skytech's repair process reportedly requires sending the PC back with the data drive for diagnosis, which can be inconvenient for warranty service.

Under the current market, not a horrible deal. Just remember, every component is the lowest quality in it's category. I bought a CyberPower PC at WM 9800X3d 5070ti 32GB 2TB for $1200 on clearance a while ago. Other than the GPU and CPU the rest of the components were low end. Could you build it cheaper? Maybe but it would be tough especially in you don't have a MC near you.
I bought a Cyber Power and got lucky when it failed on last day of 1 year warranty. Ditto on low end components in prebuilds, especially from retail places like WM.

March through May 31. By my math that's 5 days ago. How can a +$150 increase from less than a week ago be a deal today?
Getting ready for discounts to battle for customers during upcoming prime days in June.

Would be good deal with a 5080 but a 9070xt not that big of a deal because it's not that expensive and is highly available.
A good RTX 5080 with triple fan would cost $ 1,800 now.

Is this a good deal?
yes, it is. With hardware being what it costs, this is as good of a deal as you are likely to get for a while.

Living near 2 Microcenter stores, I can get a 9850X3D combo that comes with 32gb ram and a board for $700. The Asrock steel legend 9070XT I believe is $700 there today.
That leaves about tree fitty for a case with 4 fans, 2TB NVME, an 850 watt psu, and a 360 AIO assuming you want to build it a slightly better version of this. I think the 9800 combo is like $30 cheaper. Doesn't say if it has Windows installed, but that can be had for around 20 bucks or less.
This is decent deal if you don't live near a Microcenter.

Pulled the trigger. With the ram prices this may be the lowest it gets.
You aint lyin! Just dropped $500 on 32gb of 6800mhz Trident Z on a customer's build. Don't even get me started on gen 5 storage prices!

I keep going back and forth on this one. But from what I read the Intel 265k is equal in performance for half the price. The price of this CPU is mostly marketing.
I can't do it. Even with RAM prices what they are I could build one myself for not much more.

This same exact system is currently going for $2.5k on Skytech's website. So yes, compared to that, this is a deal.

Got it during last BF for $1650. But ended up returning in few days. Don't recall all the cons, as it was mostly my son testing it by his games. But remember it was not bad, just at that time you had more choice for a buck (like Lenovo with 265K and 5080 for $2000 with much better and quitter cooling). For current prices - I'd say it's worth it, if you need something like that NOW

Got mine yesterday, just finishing sw updates. Everything looks good. Skytech does a good job of packaging - there is zero visible shipping damage.

The Walmart model says it comes with 32gb 6000 rgb ram. The one from skytech says 5600 non-rgb ram.
