Solid deal but definitely would be better with 32gb given how much RAM is right now.

Great Deal, 5070 is an excellent card, basically a faster 3080ti that uses way less power and has the latest DLSS.

If you need an entry level inferencing workstation, 16GB RAM + 16GB VRAM gets you 'meaningfully' in the game with the small LM local inferencing vis-a-vis Ollama or similar apps. Definitely enough to do some structuring, ideating, prompt & context refinement, etc. locally, then I use those as starting points, prompting, etc. for my subscription (i.e., pay) inferencing accounts. Otherwise, I'm regularly hitting session, chat, even weekly token/usage limits.
