No need to wait until the last day and risk forgetting and getting charged. You can cancel right away after joining and just turns off auto-renew and leaves your current membership period unchanged.

It doesn't have an option to turns off auto-renew. You have to cancel the membership.

Thank OP. I would love to renew, but my Walmart order today for pick-up was a disaster with half the items out of stock so got half of what I ordered. Why pay Walmart extra for their constant inventory inaccuracies. Seriously hire someone that knows how to solve it.

JIT implemented correctly would not create inventory errors, but ensure the inventory was there when it's needed. No more and no less.

Walmart lacks a process for "real time inventory accuracy" when an order is placed. I'd understand this issue 20 years ago, but zero excuses with today's computing tools available. Fire the management team and start over.

Contact Walmart Customer Service and tell them you received a promo and would like to cancel and get a refund. They will either give you a prorated refund or add free months to your current membership.
