- Enrollment is limited. Eligible Card Members must first add offer to Card and then use same Card for qualifying spend. Only US-issued American Express Cards are eligible.
- Limit of 1 statement credit per eligible Card Member account.
- Qualifying Purchases
- Offer valid only for Walmart+ annual memberships purchased online only at US website walmart.com/plus/amexoffer. Includes Walmart+ annual memberships purchased in-app.
- Excludes Walmart+ monthly memberships, all other walmart.com transactions, in-store purchases, and other recurring subscription services not mentioned as qualifying.
- If you receive a free trial, charges may not post to your account until the trial has lapsed.
- Charges must post to your account before 11/14/2026 in order to qualify.
- Eligible subscriptions or memberships will automatically renew unless you cancel, and the merchant will charge the applicable fee to the Card they have on file.

I ordered something recently on Walmart.com which was delivered by a gig worker.
There is no way to know at the time you place the order.
The tracking on my particular item showed that it was shipped from a Walmart warehouse to a Walmart hub similar to Amazon. Then it was delivered by a gig worker.
There is no place to add a tip.

I generally only use delivery for items that can't be shipped, like refrigerated or fresh items.
Now Walmart has switched partially to the Amazon model where part of the shipment is handled internally, then the "last mile delivery" is handled by a gig worker. What is "delivery" and what isn't is now blurred.
When I have ordered grocery to be delivered, I use Instacart+. I recently signed up for a year for $19. And every month, I have $20 credit to use because of my Chase Ink Business Cash credit card. No point in getting Walmart+ unless it was free.
It was not same-day shipping either. I got the mini chainsaw 2 days later.
It was definitely not delivered by FedEx which was Walmart's preferred shipper.
Fine print: "Walmart Cash will be issued following the 30-day promotional period for annual plan signup. Auto-renews to annual plan unless cancelled before promotional period ends."
Gone after I logged in.
Nope. Not paying $49 for Walmart+.
