Does the sync module included in this bundle not with local storage? Sync module XR uses micro SD card. The sync module 2 uses a USB. There is one (the core?) that doesn't offer local storage.

local storage sucks if you ever compared systems operating local vs cloud. Its just not worth the local storage headache. Its slow and the layoff between cameras as motion detected sucks and viewing more so in real-time if you get a alert sucks too because its so slow for its process. Just sucks over all, not worth the headache and just pay the monthly lol

Local storage works just fine if you use an actual PC with a Nvme ssd as your local storage. If you're using a camera with SD card and a potato quality CPU as your local storage of course it will be slow.

Amazon's cloud storage is fast because it's run on proper server hardware and not some $25 camera. It's not magic.

Of course, you have to buy real IP cameras and not some Amazon device to make that work.

I have 19 cameras on two properties. 12 of them are blink. The remainder are Ring. I subscribe to both services and have no problems. I will admit the ring floodlight cams have better night vision. Both have led to theft arrests. I am not sure they would have without the subscription.
