This is the X1-26-100 processor. I wish BestBuy/everyone didn't hide that info, but at least it is visible on this one.

Bad. Snapdragon + Windows is a sloth.
Depends on the processor...my Galaxybook4 Edge with an X1-80-100 flies.

Performance is comparable to a Intel Core 5 120.

Battery life better than almost anything from Intel and AMD with its ARM processor

At doing what?!

It's always some mess on windows deals.

I use my surface laptop 7 as a direct MacBook Air replacement and complimentary to my m4pro mbp, which my Acer predator 16s is other workhorse. I know exactly what each device is good for.

Apple user love the crippled neo and Windows users are never satisfied.

Running anything that is x86 requires emulation that slows down workflow. ARM is superior technology on the hardware front, but Windows is so slow to see the future, grasping to every shred of X86 it can. Hopefully Nvidia can convince them to make the migration. I use Windows, Linux Mint, MacOS, and ChromeOS regularly, and I am not loyal to any of them. I like/dislike all of them for different reasons. But, using Snapdragon hardware with Windows is like using it with a MacBook. It'll work, but it's not the best combination. Qualcomm should have teamed up with Google to create the next line of AluminiumOS devices. ARM on an Android computer makes the most sense.
I agree. I have a snapdragon Lenovo yoga and it's still too early IMO. I'm also a pretty basic user: office, browsing with dozens of tabs on Brave, Adobe PDF, etc. Nothing crazy. It's great when it works but when it doesn't, it's frustrating. It'll just freeze for a minute and then work again, it isn't reliable when plugged into my display, keyboard, and mouse, print spooling it really slow--a restart fixes it and it reboots fast but no one likes doing that.

I just hopped onto one of the recent MBA deals. It'll be my first time as an apple user. We'll see if my experience is any better with Mac at 2x the price.

Shill accounts backing snapdragon are delusional here.
No point of buying Windows laptop if you are not getting Intel-AMD and whole windows app-games compatibility. Snapdragon sucks at this.
Unless it is as productive as buying Apple laptop with M5 chip or sth to perhaps even running local AI LLM people should avoid this.

Don't see any rationale buying xelite laptops when you can get similar configured lunar lake ones at similar prices
