I have not enjoyed any predator movies since the original, until this one. Had a great time in the theater

I don't know if you caught "Prey" or "Predator: Killer of Killers." But I really enjoyed those, in addition to the original film.

Predator Badlands comes across as a more entertaining, family friendly Predator entry that plays well at home and in the theater. The movie is described as cinematic, well done, and fun to rewatch, with some laughs and even a Comanche dub that adds to the experience. It also works well for offline viewing on an iPad. The main knocks are that it is not a traditional Predator movie, and the script is said to leave the lead with little backstory. A solid pick if you want a lighter take on the franchise.

  • The movie can also be accessed through Fandango via Movies Anywhere for gift-card or Amazon-points users.

    M1sterio

  • The movie can be downloaded for offline viewing on an iPad during power or internet outages.

    Jrbergstrom

  • The movie can be entertaining on a home theater setup and can feel cinematic even for nontraditional Predator fans.

    JustinMKN

  • The movie can be enjoyable enough to rewatch, even if it is not treated as a traditional Predator entry.

    MNelson987

  • The title may fail to appear in the iTunes app on a Windows PC even after searching and browsing $4.99 movies.

    starbearer92

  • The script may feel like it lacks backstory for the main character, which can hurt overall enjoyment.

    sahively

  • The movie may not connect with fans of the original Predator franchise and can feel unrelated to the real movies.

    DevynHeaven

  • The movie may not be considered a serious Predator film, which can disappoint viewers seeking the original tone.

Felt like the script that was adapted to have a predator in it. No backstory given for the lady. Altogether 2 out of 5 mehs.

This was nothing like expected and found it to be a unexpectedly very entertaining. It was fun for my entire family- never thought I'd say that about a Predator movie. I've since watched it a couple times (it's on Disney+) but took advantage of this offer just so I can keep it downloaded on my iPad for when we lose power or don't have internet. It's a great movie to have on hand as it somehow manages to be entertaining for a very wide audience.
