I mean, it was $5 for 20 years. Now it's $6 in most places. I wouldn't call an average price increase of less than 1% a year bad.
It's a 16.6% discount from the current standard price in many places. It's up to you if you think a 16.6% discount is a "great deal" or not.

Particularly looking forward to some $5 Caesars this week after making the mistake of grabbing one of those sale 7-11 pizzas last week. Turns out that there's pizza that's not even worth $1.60, and 7-11 has it. Yuck.

The prices you're seeing aren't universal. I'm still seeing $6 for regular, $7 for EMB in my area. Some people are paying as much as $10.

I'll never forget the days going in and getting two $5 pizzas and leaving. Took a whole 5 minutes for this and had dinner at home. Sadly did this way too much in 2010'ish and can't eat their pizza as much now!
